Barbara Hall: Canada's Own Totalitarian Czar

Barbara Hall is currently the head of the Ontario "Human Rights" Commission. She now wants to create a Canadian Media Council, which would carefully monitor and control everything written or said in all of these venues:

• Newspapers
• Magazines
• Talk radio
• Television
• Websites
• Blogs

Learning of something like this, one is naturally prone to check the calendar to see if it is April 1st but no, it is not. Ms. Hall is beyond scary. Her worldview would fit in very well in Cuba or North Korea but the last time I checked, this is still Canada.

I had thought that 2008 was the year where the likes of Commissar Hall were exposed to the light of public scrutiny ... and rejected in every way by the vast majority of Canadians. Clearly she never received that memo. Now she's looking to acquire even more power. Frightening.
