USPS Stamps Celebrating the 2010 Olympics

Only about 10 months late I received these Olympic stamps. There's an hilarious but long story about why five are missing.

Good Discussion on Canadian Politics ... NOT!

If you'd ever like a textbook example of the truly dreadful political discourse we're presented with on the Canadian MSM, listen to two Lefty nitwits, Monty Paulsen and Simi Sara, present their worldviews to Norman Spector. The "fun" starts around 6:00 into the podcast.

Among other things, you'll hear Paulsen refer to himself as "Centre Left" whereas anyone who would dare vote for Stephen Harper over Iggy or Taliban Jack or Lizzy May must be "Far Right", which we all know is code for "small minded white bigot".

Truly, truly pathetic!

Christmas Day at St. Paul's Hospital

As part of a promise to my friends over at SDA, I headed down to St. Paul's Hospital this afternoon to see if Baby Jesus had arrived in the manger. Sure enough, he had!  And thus, I must admit that my cynicism was incorrect.  The folks at St. Paul's had not succumbed to the political correctness so rampant throughout our society.  Much praise and thanks must go to them for putting on such a beautiful display once again this year!

Xmas Eve at St. Paul's Hospital

No Baby Cheeses yet in the manger in front of St. Paul's Hospital. No Baby Jesus figurine either.

Here are several shots I took of St. Paul's Hospital 2010 Lights of Hope:

Notice anything unusual with this photo?  I've written them about it.
