The [Almost] Perfect Mobile Device

A new Pocket PC Phone is now available in the U.S. and Canada. It's the HP hw6515 and offers these features:

  • Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE cellular phone
  • Windows Mobile 2003 (Phone Edition) OS
  • Bluetooth wireless capability
  • 1.3 MegaPixel Camera
  • Built-in keyboard
  • 128MB Total Memory
  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel, & Internet Explorer
I think this is a superb offering and is a unit I'd seriously consider. Though the perfect device would include these features:
  • WiFi capability
  • A higher resolution camera
  • A keyboard that would slide up & behind the screen

So they're getting close!!!

Wifi is a must in my mind, as are removable batteries (critical) and the ability to use a bigger media card.

Hi there,

How about the new Telus UTStarCom 8700.

WiFi. 128 MB RAM. 1.3 MP Camera. QWERTY Keyboard.

I'm currently using the O2 mini, which is the same, except 64MB, tri-band GSM + no WiFi.
