A Different Perspective on Virtual Reality

I just heard an NPR Podcast story about people who are paying real money to obtain "virtual gold" in an online video game. Being a big timer gamer when I was a kid, I do understand the motivation here but it's still a strange concept to get one's mind around. You can read the full story here.
