GPS Shoes

I bet that these look like ordinary running shoes to you:


To me as well. But when you turn then over there's something very different embedded in the soles:

Those are special chips that have both GPS and Cel phone technology. Originally designed for children, they let a parent identify where their child is at any moment. But I imagine that they could also be given out to couriers and other mobile employees, to help a central computer system better allocate resources.

These are the brainchild of Isaac Daniel, a Miami engineer. My friend, Kelsey, just started at this company. Very neat products!
