Spring Is On Its Way

I've never hid the fact that I HATE the grayness of Vancouver from about November through April. I'd honestly welcome snow and colder weather over endless gray days (or is that a "gray daze"?!?) A wonderful treat for all Vancouverites these days are the gloriously colourful flowers now sprouting up all over the place. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do!

I agree, dry snow, would be better! It can still be sunny with the snow, but our rain and slush are miserable, wet cold goes through the clothes. I arrived in Canada on Nov.11, (easy to remember :), all those gray, dreary month, I was cold in my wool winter coat and leather boots, that were fine in a cold swiss winter. In the spring, I started seeing all kinds of things in our neighborhood, that I hadn't noticed all winter long.
