Annual Polar Bear Swim

The citizens of Vancouver are generally a bit too reserved and self-absorbed for my taste, but once in a while they let down their guard and act like their zany inner selves. Case in point is the annual Polar Bear Swim down at English Bay. Here are some photos I took there this afternoon:
