Kim Campbell's Educational Roots

The other day I attended a superb musical at Prince of Wales Secondary School in Vancouver.

After the show, I was standing around in the foyer and saw this sign:
I've since done a quick check and indeed, the "Avril Kim Campbell" cited here is indeed Canada's 19th Prime Minister! You can read more about her here. A few years ago, during one of my many visits to Chicago, I met Ms. Campbell in person. She was giving a lecture about politics and the Club of Madrid. I found her to be a very smart, engaging person. She was clearly too straightforward to be a "good" politician but it's important to have some people of substance in our political arena.
