A Message for the President of the BCTF

I just heard Jinny Sims, the president of the BCTF, state that her and her members are now in league with Rosa Parks, the black woman who refused to sit on the back of the bus. What's next, comparing yourself to what Jesus Christ went through???? This fight of yours is about money, pure & simple. Directly and indirectly it's all about money.

What kind of example do you think you're setting for the children of B.C.? "If you don't get what you want then pout and scream and break the law and eventually you'll get your way." Kudos, Ms. Sims.Unlike the government, you are not elected by the citizens of British Columbia. You lost the last provincial election so now you're trying to refight it. I hope that Mike DeJong starts imposing fines:

• $1 Million per day for the BCTF
• $100 per day for each teacher

Maybe that will finally give you a small glimpse into a concept known as reality.
