The Future of TV?
Most people prefer surfing the Internet over watching TV because they control the content rather than letting someone else do it for them. For the same reason, this may be the future of TV.

Current.tv is one of a new breed of broadcasters that are using the old broadcast model with new independent content to create a cheap and easy to start channel. There is also the Podshow and a San Francisco radio station KYOURadio that are doing the same thing with podcast content.
In the long term, I don't see this as a successful model. As IPTV develops there will be no need to use such old model aggregators when the most successful aggregators will be Internet based.
