Prime Example of CBC Trying to Reshape the News

Remember Eric Millett, the Radical Leftie elementary school principal who decided to silence the daily singing of Canada's national anthem at his school? He claims that one parent told him that she didn't want her child singing Canada's national anthem "for religious reasons". Whether or not this is true has yet to be determined.

Parents at the school and many Canadians in general are outraged at this for a simple reason: Assuming Mr. Millett is being truthful about what one parent said to him, it is yet another example of special accommodations being made for one child in the entire school, at the expense of ALL the other children. And in this case these accommodations mean silencing our country's national anthem. Who could possibly defend that?

But of course, the age old crusader of oppressed minorities, the high & mighty CBC!!! Watch this video.

Mr. Millett makes some pretty serious claims:

• Parents have threatened to beat him up.
• Anonymous death threats have been received via e-mail.
• Threats against him have been made via his home phone.

Let me say unequivocally that if anyone has threatened him then they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Interesting that the RCMP has been investigating Millett's claims and heretofore have not laid a single charge.

What's more interesting is how the CBC, both in their on-camera interview and on their website, never use the word "allegedly". In fact, the headline on their website reads, "N.B. school principal received death threats in anthem dispute". That's a pretty bold claim. Do they have corrobating evidence to support this statement? If so, it's certainly not cited in the news story.

This is yet another example of the shoddy journalistic practices of Canada's public broadcaster. As I explained recently, I've given up on complaining to them because their entire complaint process is phoney, fake, a sham. But if a future federal government ever pulls all of their funding, I will not be shedding a tear.

Coming to a Canadian School Near You

Here is the face of the New Radical Left in Canada:

His name is Erik Millett, he is a principal at an elementary school in Belleisle, New Brunswick, and he is an absolute moron. He has banned the singing of O Canada allegedly because some parents didn't want their children singing the anthem daily: "We try to balance the needs of every student, and we want every student to feel welcome in our school."

He refused to say who these parents were so for all we know he may very well be lying and these parents may simply exist only in his own warped mind.

Make no mistake, this is but one little example of where the Radical Left - including but not limited to militant teachers unions across our nation - want to take our society. One day I do wonder if such mindsets will be diagnosed as an official psychological disorder.

Why Official Multiculturalism Must End

I started writing a comment for this blog posting but then realized that I had more than a little to say. Here are my thoughts:

I don't have a problem with any particular group of people immigrating to any country in The West. What I do have a MAJOR problem with is the politically correct, multicultural, wishy-washy immigration agenda of the Radical Left.

As writers like Mark Steyn have frequently noted, "official multicultural policy" does not mean that we'll have a variety of diverse & interesting restaurants. No, the Official Multicultural Policies of The West assert that all cultures are equal and that no particular culture is any better or worse than another.

As often occurs with the policies dreamed up by the Radical Left, the longterm repercussions are not thought through. As a result, countries throughout the West now have large ghettos in their urban areas - some rich, most poor - of people predominately from one country and often of the same religion.

The language & signs throughout these ghettos is never of the host country. Any attempt to change this generates cries of racism, with often the loudest voices coming from the mainstream liberal media. The immigrant adults in these ghettos often never learn the language of the host country very well or at all. What incentive or purpose is there for them to do so? Most everything around them resembles the country where they came from. They can take their driving test in pretty much any language they wish. Every government agency guarantees them all interactions in their native language; the host country's language(s) are unimportant.

The young children of immigrants do mostly learn to converse in the host country's language(s). Though they often struggle in school in their early years. Since their parents can't read the schoolbooks, there is no support for them at home. Their teachers, while trying their best, struggle to teach the core material while propping up each immigrant student's basic communication skills. The core material always suffers, as does the entire education of their classmates whose parents are natives. Any attempts to change this dysfunctional system is met with cries of racism, with the loudest voices coming from Radical Left academic "experts".

As these kids get older they tend to hang out almost exclusively with others from their own cultural community. After their basic schooling it "suddenly" becomes apparent to them and to those aforementioned "experts" that:

• They have little understanding of the mainstream of the society in which hold a passport.
  
• They sometimes have very twisted views of their country's history and accomplishments.
• They have often have little to no loyalty of the country in which they're a citizen.
• If their academic skills are poor then they have no hope of getting a higher education.
• Mainstream employers, given a choice between hiring positive, well spoken native speakers and culturally dysfunctional applicants opt for the logical choice.
  

And what then happens? Frustration. Anger. Violence. Riots. Terrorism.

It is all so preventable: Replace multiculturalism with a strict melting pot strategy and insist that every young person take pride in the country in which they grow up - each & every day. Lo and behold, divisiveness will be replaced with cohesiveness. But the Radical Leftists who have infested government, academia, and the media will fight such a progressive change every step of the way.

So on Saturday, we rally. We rally so that our voices are heard, so that politicians don't abuse our trust and most importantly, we rally for Canada.

For rally day, let's create a sea of red and white! Wear red and white clothing and bring your Canadian flag and wave it proudly. This is a rally for our amazing country and for the celebration of our democratic principles.

Trip Photos: Chicago's Midway Airport

We flew out of Chicago via their Midway Airport on the south side of the city. Later I learned that this will be the first airport in the U.S. that is completely privatized. Inside our wing was this spectacular display, honouring those who fought in the Battle of Midway.

I have just launched a new initiative, inspired by these 2 videos:



I would like to compile a much longer video, comprised of women and men, of all races, ages, and religions. It will be uploaded to here on YouTube.

If you would like to participate, here's what you need to do:

1. Take a video of yourself, no more than 15 seconds long, with whatever background setting you feel uniquely describes YOU! It might show where you live, your children, your family, your friends, or whatever inspires you! You can say whatever you want but to be eligible for submission, it must include these words at some point: "I AM Sarah Palin".
2. Go to this website and upload your video (see directions below).
3. Once uploaded, a web link will be provided to you. Please send this link to: IAmSarahPalin@live.com
   

That's it! The link you send will enable me to download your video. Once I have a sufficient number, I will compile them into a single long video, add a great soundtrack, and upload it to here on YouTube. For now, enjoy the videos already uploaded there!

Upload Directions:

Video files are quite large so they can't be readily sent via e-mail. As such, a slightly different process has to be used to get your video to me. Thankfully it's very simple!

Go to MediaFire.com and click on the large green button near the top of the screen:
A dialog box will appear. Click on the grey button in the middle:
You'll be prompted to select which file on your computer you want to upload. Select it and press the "Open" or "OK" button on the dialog box. This will return you back to this screen, where you just need to press the green "Start Upload" button:
The menu on the right side will change. Click on the second option, entitled "My Files (main folder) :
Your file will start uploading to the server. Just be patient and wait until it's done.
Once it's entirely uploaded then click on the "Copy Link" button:
This will store in your computer's memory the web link I need to access your uploaded file.

Go to your e-mail program and send an e-mail to IAmSarahPalin@live.com In the Subject or Body of the e-mail paste the link you copied. There are many different ways to do this, depending on your computer. On Windows machines you can press Shift+Insert simultaneously. You can also go to the top menu of your browser and choose "Edit" and then "Paste".

In your e-mail, please provide any of the following optional information that you would like displayed on top of your video segment:

Why Do So Many Teachers Dislike Their Own Countries?

There's an interesting debate occurring in Britain about whether to promote "British-ness" throughout the school system. Such an initiative would be a very good thing and would finally put an end to the destructive multicult policies that have been hurting so many Western nations. For a house divided against itself is certain to fall apart.

Yet, as could have been predicted, 91% of school teachers are against this idea. No big surprise at all but both scary and sad that such people are the ones indoctrinating our children.

Question #1: If such a poll were conducted in B.C., asking teachers how they felt about promoting Canadian-ness, do you think the results would be much different. I don't.

Question #2: Why do so many Socialist Kool Aid drinkers end up becoming teachers (and journalists)?!?
