Craig Ferguson Gets Jiggy With It!
Here's the original, by Fatboy Slim:

His name is Sungha Jung and he's got talent!
From his YouTube page:
Hi, I'm Sungha Jung from South Korea. My dream is to become a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist.
I had been watching my dad play the guitar for awhile before I finally jumped on it myself three years ago. I just turned twelve in September, 2008.
Currently, I am taking weekly classical guitar lessons and teaching myself fingerstyle guitar.

Marc Cohn's Walking in Memphis is such an incredibly powerful song. Turn up your speakers and listen to a few versions of it:

Here's an altered version of Valerie, by my favourite musician of all time, Steve Winwood. This techno version, renamed Call on Me, was produced by Swedish DJ & producer, Eric Prydz. Winwood worked with him to re-record the lyrics.
However, here is the video that made the song famous, though I have no idea why! ;-) Incidentally, Radical Left Liberals in places like Manhattan, Toronto, San Francisco, and Seattle, who know nothing about non-neurotic sex, might want to avoid watching this! LOL
If you're a purist, like me, then you'll enjoy the original version of Valerie:

I've always loved songs like this that start off slowly and then build & build.

I've been watching a lot of Hawaii Five-O episodes recently. Now that I'm more familiar with Honolulu and environs, it's interesting to spot locales that I know of. While watching, I'm constantly doing research on IMDB et al about the show. I just came across this video, which merges the video of the Hawaii Five-O intro with the Jan Hammer theme song of Miami Vice.
It's quite amazing how it meshes so nicely. Though the original song will always be my favourite!

Shania Twain, one of Canada's recent music superstars is divorcing her husband after 14 years of marriage. May I respectfully add that I think she's also one of the most beautiful women ever to come out of this country too!

Today is the birthday of my favourite musician of all time, Steve Winwood. He avoided the glamour, he avoided the drugs, and he stayed true to the music. Here are a few videos of his to enjoy:

A flash back to when the quality of music actually meant something:
Now we have the likes of Mariah Carey as best selling artists. How far we've dropped. :-(
