Charles Adler Covers Rubygate

Listen here - Move the slider to 7:00 once the window loads. The entire hour is devoted to Ruby Dhalla. If the allegations are proven true then she may be facing criminal charges which would see her facing a jail term of up to 2 years.

In general terms, it's fascinating to watch the ABSOLUTE HYPOCRISY of so-called "progressives"!!!

Ruby, You've Got Some 'Splainin To Do

Some damning documents have been published by the Toronto Star concerning MP Ruby Dhalla's alleged payments to two Filipino nannies.

Based on the receipts containd therein, let do some math:

$250.00 - Payment per week

$6.25 - Hourly rate if the nanny worked 40 hrs/wk
$4.17 - Hourly rate if the nanny worked 60 hrs/wk
$3.13 - Hourly rate if the nanny worked 80 hrs/wk

Priceless - The spin that Ruby Dhalla and the Liberal Party of Canada will attempt trying to explain this!

Incidentally, this puff piece resonates quite differently now, doesn't it?!

Jack Layton: How to Gain Power Without Ever Earning It

Full transcript from Stephen Taylor here.

So now we clearly know what the NDP/Liberal/Block Cabal de Trois has had planned all along. Do they have the legal right to form a coalition? Absolutely.

Should the Governor General let them take power in this way, without putting it to a vote of Canadians? Absolutely Not! As I've stated repeatedly before, there is no similar precedent, not even one, in Canada's 141 year history. Never before has control of the government been handed over this way if the sitting Prime Minister demands an election be held instead.

So let an election indeed be held with:
  • Stephane Dion or Bob Rae or Michael Ignatieff as PM
  • Jack Layton as Finance Minister
  • Gilles Duceppe as ?????
Let the People of Canada decide if this is what they want. If my fellow citizens choose to go this path then I will fully accept their decision.

BC Lottery Chief: Should He Stay or Should He Go?

After a massive fraud scandal is exposed throughout the machinations of the BC Lottery Corporation, their CEO, Vic Poleschuk, just goes onto the PR circuit to say, "Yeah, we're working on it." Not good enough, sir. One of the reasons you're paid the big salary is to accept the responsibility when such a scandal comes to light.

Japanese politicians commit suicide for much less but here in Canada, no one resigns for anything it seems. If our business and political leaders have no honour and sense of responsibility then why should we be surprised when our children don't either?!
