CO2: European Hypocrisy
I burst out laughing when I read this story about how carbon dioxide emissions from Europe's heavy industry sectors rose by 1.1% in 2007. And keep in mind this after carbon trading programs have been implemented and some of this industry has been offshored to China.
Personally, I have yet to hear any tangible proof that CO2 emissions are the primary cause of global warming but for those people who do believe it, they're sure not walking their talk!

Heck no, spoiled westerners expect the poor countries to keep their quaint lifestyles of leaving no carbon footprint. I mean, really, who would want to trade a romantic hut for a sterile, modern house?
It's others that are supposed to sacrifice.
