Just Another "Fun" Day at the University of Pennsylvania

This past Tuesday, the President of the University of Pennsylvania, Amy Gutmann, held her annual Halloween party at her home. Here are some photos from the event:

Ms. Gutmann posing with faux suicide bomber, Saad Saadi

Reading from the Koran, in preparation for an execution

Preparing to kill another hostage

Call me crazy but do you think this is appropriate behaviour in the home of the president of a major U.S. university? Apparently Ms. Gutmann had no problem with it.

Have a look at Saadi's website. There are some eery similiarites with the photos that Kimveer Gill posted on the Internet. Don't remember him? He's the maniac who went on a shooting rampage at Montreal's Dawson College on September 13, 2006.

It's little wonder that history repeats itself over and over again. Especially when the likes of Amy Gutmann are promoted into positions of power. Remember, she's an EDUCATOR. Think about the lessons the students of her university are learning through her actions ... or lack thereof!

I've just caught up on reading the last posts of your blog, I can only claim the "minority" category for women, none of the others apply, sorry :p I love your posts about B...elinda, about free speech etc. I couldn't agree with you more!!! I want to write "ditto" or "amen" on each! Same for schools, I'm glad my kids are grown! Where do you find all these stories?

So why are you so politcally correct all of a sudden?

Hey, I have a great sense of humour but some things are just not funny. Will next year's UPenn Halloween party feature Holocaust prisoners getting beaten up by Nazis? Maybe the one after that will feature mock lynching of black folks? Would either of those give you the daily chuckle you need?

Sure, for an annual Halloween party...if everyone involved wants to do so in the name of good fun. Maybe the mock Jews or blacks can even revise history and get their own back!

I was deliberately using tasteless sarcasm to make a point. Sorry to see that you didn't get it.

Ignorance is bliss!

Speaking of ignorance, Mark Steyn has got to be so if he believes militant, fundamentalist Islam is the greatest threat to America.

I suggest he should check up on the facts behind America's green IOU-Nothings and focus less time on green flags with white crescents.
