Age Is A Matter of Perspective
Two pretty twenty-something women were talking and one said to the other, "Umm, he was like really old, I think thirty-five."
I'm depressed!

You need to go to where the 65 year olds are, then you'll be that handsome young whipper snapper! ;)
I meant that as a good thing, but somehow I'm not sure that's comforting...
Hey, 16 & 17 year old boys probably think of you & your friends as "old"! It's all relative!!!
The only time I find it weird is when I'm in a bar or a restaurant like Cactus Club and see 18 & 19 year olds. Quickly reminds me how I thought I knew everything back then but actually new very little at all.
If you were 30, you should be depressed. Your profile says you're 42, therefore it's not a bad thing.
Be upset only if young people peg you about ten years older than you are-- theirs was an insult in general to middle agers, but if you really think about it, it was a compliment to you.
Of course if the conversation before went something like: He throws his food from the table and has big tantrums when his meat isn't cooked just right! then 35 is awfully old.
