The Dark Side of Environmentalists

Environmentalism has clearly become the new secular religion. And in the same way that misguided Christian missionaries looked down upon "more primitive" peoples for centuries, so now are environmentalists looking down upon anyone who dares challenge their rhetoric.

I just finished watching "Mine Your Own Business", a brilliant, realistic documentary of how righteous, misguided environmentalists around the world are taking great strides to keep poor people in poverty for perpetuity.

Hot Dogs: An American Institution

The evening had arrived and I was absolutely starving. But then an amazing program on hot dogs across America came onto PBS. I just couldn't peel my eyes away, even though my stomach was screaming at my legs to do so. If you ever get a chance, watch it! And if you're not American, you'll quickly gain a great insight into what many say is "America's National Food". But hot dogs go way beyond food. There's a whole cultural experience around them.

The highlight for me was the segment on the many hot dog places throughout Chicago, several of which I've been to. The only downside was that it didn't feature my favourite hot dog emporium in Portland, Oregon, Otto's Sausage Kitchen.

Global Warming: Been Feeling Guilty Lately?

Over the past year have you been feeling increasingly guilty about everything you do? Thinking twice about taking a flight somewhere?

There have been great forces at work to make you feel absolutely convinced that you are the source of the problem and that you must change your ways immediately or the world will be destroyed within the next few centuries. Al Gore wants you to feel this way. Stephane Dion wants you to feel this way. The Green Party everywhere wants you to feel this way. Indirectly, these same forces want the poorest people on the planet to remain in poverty for perpetuity.

Finally, in a breakthrough documentary, some sense and facts have been brought to the surface. I implore you to watch this important film and forward the link to everyone you know. Or just tell them to search Google Video for "global warming swindle". It's over an hour in length but well worth your time, I promise you!
