The Hilton Hawaiian Village is the largest hotel property in Waikiki. Situated on 22 acres, it's comprised of several towers containing almost 3,000 rooms. I had not visited it recently so decided to do so while I was waiting for a friend to arrive at a nearby restaurant

Visiting my uncle in Ladner, we all went on a car ride around his new community and briefly stopped at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary. We didn't have time to go inside but Danny captured these ducks and other birds near the entrance.

It was another perfect day. I strolled down to Granville Island to buy the remainder of items I need for the party I'm hosting tomorrow. Before actually going shopping, I took a number of photos in & around the market.
