How to make a LOT of money ... without really doing anything

Most every caring parent, wanting their children to succeed, will encourage them to study and work hard, believing this to be a sure recipe for success. And indeed it is.

But one Vancouver entrepreneur has figured out how to bypass the part about all the hard work. He actually makes money every time someone makes a mistake. To learn about how upside down the Internet has turned our conventional thinking, read this (short version) or this (full article).

In his latest venture, Vancouverite Kevin Ham makes money every time someone misspells a ".com" website address as ".cm". I've never done this, but apparently lots of people do. So if instead of typing "www.microsoft.com" you instead type "www.microsoft.cm" you end up on Tam's site, www.agoga.com It's a completely useless website, solely full of only links to advertisements, but apparently more than enough people are clicking on these links to make Ham a very wealthy man.

As for me, I still have this old fashioned notion of building something useful that will actually help people. But I'm not the one with the $300 Million company created out of ... well, nothing. Much like the whole premise of the Seinfeld show. Surely Ham must be laughing all the way to the bank!
