The Torch is Passed on from Mother to Daughter

The wonderful video below is of Katiya Hvostov of St. Catharines, Ontario running with the Olympic flame on December 20, 2009.

What's most interesting though is that her mother, Masha, carried the torch on December 25, 1987 prior to the Calgary '88 Winter Olympics!

As Masha wrote, "It was great to pass our CANADIAN pride along to the world!!"
