A Few Glimpses of Downtown Seattle

Danny & I were starving so we decided to get a late lunch in Chinatown. Afterwards we walked toward the south end of downtown to see the Smith Tower, for which I had been given a free pass for taking the photos I did of the building on my previous visit.


Seattle's homeless situation seems nowhere near as bad as what exists in Vancouver these days. Though such signs may seem laughable, perhaps they actually have a positive effect ... if such bylaws are actually enforced.


You can see the Smith Tower jutting out on the left side of the photo.


Generally Seattle's downtown pedestrian scene is as vibrant as Vancouver's but there are some wonderful glimpses like this one.

Here Union Station sits in front of the twin sports stadiums.
