Barack Obama's Victory Speech

Here's the superb victory speech made by Barack Obama after his decisive victory in Iowa:

He is indeed an excellent communicator and this very positive speech may very well be the moment cited by historians where Hillary Clinton's political hopes ended.

But on the assumption that he becomes the Democrat nominee, I wonder how the content of his speech will be viewed by most Americans? It might just take a few economists to calculate what tax increase people will have to pay to end his chances of becoming president. I am not saying that health care shouldn't be available to everyone but generally people are reluctant to increase government services if they know that they will have to pay for it. It's going to be an interesting year!
