Would real estate companies and realtors please stop inventing stupid, cute names for neighbourhoods? I just saw this ad for "SoMa" in Vancouver. WTF?! Turns out it refers to "South Main".
Seriously, is this necessary to sell more overpriced condos to rude Yuppies from Toronto?!?

SoMa it seems is a straight out copy from NYC's chic neighbourhoods.
In North Van it is actually more nauseating with their newest buildings being dubbed

Envy.
