The Spider Web of Power Corporation

I've been having discussions with other Canadians, trying to find a plausible reason why Bob Rae seems intent on engaging in a political suicide mission, traveling across the country to drum up support for Le Coalition.

Frequently what comes to the surface in such discussions are his strong connection to the infamous Power Corporation.

This mysterious company has often been criticized with controlling federal Canadian politics for decades. One has to wonder if they're the ones demanding that Rae engage in this campaign?
