Vancouver's annual majestic fireworks display is coming soon. The HSBC Festival of Light will be held at 10pm on these evenings:
Hundreds of thousands of people gather around the waterfront in English Bay, Kitsilano Beach, Jericho Beach, Spanish Banks, and elsewhere to watch. My preference is to walk down to English Bay, right in the heart of the action. Some friends of mine usually get there around 6pm, setup a few portable BBQs and turn the evening into a real event. Last year we had an actual chocolate fondue and were dipping an assortment of fruit!
