Weekend Visit from an Old Friend

This past weekend I was visited by a longtime friend of mine named Melissa. She hails from Chicago, where we worked together in 1996, before we moved down to Mexico City to help build a startup advertising company. We've been good friends ever since and her family has pretty much adopted me. I was ecstatic to be able to show Melissa around my hometown. This was actually her first visit ever to Canada.
