What If . . .
What if Barack Obama had been the President of the United States during World War 2. I can only envision two possible outcomes:
Bad - America would have lost an additional million soldiers' lives and would have won.
Worse - America would have lost an additional million+ soldiers' lives and not won.
You needed Roosevelt to get lend/lease going to keep the UK afloat in the earlier years. You needed Truman to push the button and drop the bomb. Obama wouldn't have had what it takes for either scenario. Furthermore, if you think Stalin walked all over Churchill and Roosevelt and they handed over far too much to him, I can only imagine how much larger the USSR would have been.
