Tina Fey (aka Sarah Palin) on SNL

Here's the famous performance that everyone has been eagerly awaiting:

It's quite hilarious! Being an aficionado of regional accents, I thought that Tina Fey's was closer to a Northern Minnesota accent than an Alaska one. John Batchelor has a great take on it as well.

The biggest effect of the ongoing SNL skits through the election will be to continue to mock the hypocritical sexist and elitist media coverage of Palin. Most in the media still haven't realized just how far they've jumped the shark with their pathetically biased coverage. They're slow learners though. Extreme arrogance tends to have the effect of obscuring facts that otherwise would be blatantly obvious.

Now, being a stickler for facts, some of the jokes in the SNL skit are based on half-truths and falsehoods. Just wanted to draw some things to your attention in case you're interested:

If you're a Radical Leftist with PDS (Palin Derangement Syndrome) I realize that facts and alternative views are unimportant to you. But I have good news: In just over 51 days the election will all be over and you can take a break for awhile.
