In most larger communities there are a variety of supermarkets to choose from. Down here there's one that dominates the market: Publix. They're clean, well stocked, and the staff are generally friendly, with a few exceptions. There's one close by in Brickell that I walk to every couple of days. Best to go shopping there between 5 - 7pm on weekdays for reasons I can't mention publicly!!! :-)

Publix, the King of Supermarkets in South Florida
In most larger communities there are a variety of supermarkets to choose from. Down here there's one that dominates the market: Publix. They're clean, well stocked, and the staff are generally friendly, with a few exceptions. There's one close by in Brickell that I walk to every couple of days. Yes, I'm not trilled about Publix. It's a pretty mediocre grocery store down here. In AK we had three different chains and one of the finest asian markets around! I miss the fresh fish that you can't find around there :(

ReplyDeleteP.S. My friend's 9 year-old had no idea about what state, other than Hawaii, didn't "touch" the other states. So I'm not even sure that Alaska even exists!!!
